Chapman lager is a bright and fresh lager beer, a breath of crisp air across the pond. American aroma hops create fruity and floral finish to a light malty base. Our lager was named after Fredrik Af Chapman, a notable admiral and a shipbuilder who lived in Suomenlinna in the 18th century.¨

50 cl can @ home, BBE 20.03.2024. Rated on 15.05.2023 Aroma has mild fruitiness and cereal. Flavour has cereal, mild grassy hops. Some milky tones in the finish. Easy-going.

Draught@SOPP Tampere 2019. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, some maize, mild herbal and some sweet notes. Flavour is grainy,maizelike, grassy and some slight herbal and sweet notes too.

Bottle at Suomenlinnan Panimo. Golden with a white head. Grain, bread, some hay and notes of butter.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2021) The beer poured pale golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, grapefruit, tangerine and peach. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grapefruit, tangerine, spiciness, pine, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A delicious hoppy brew with good balance.

Smell of hops, grass. Hazy golden colour, very high off-white head. Aroma of hay, malt, some papery notes. Bitter. Wild carbon. Drinkable, but not much else.

Bottled 330ml (Prisma Itäkeskus)
Golden colour, small white head and some lace. Hayish and a bit buttery aroma. Light-bodied. Crisp, hayish, herbal and a bit buttery flavour, some sweetness. Easy, decent Sauna lager.

33cl bottle from Prisma Jumbo, Vantaa. Poured clear golden color with a thin white head. Grassy hops in aroma, grains, hay. Grainy malts, grass, hay in flavor. Quite dry finish. Refreshing, tasty brew.

A light yellow beer, a head is white and quite small. Aroma has grain, wet grass, mild fruitness. Taste has grain, grass, some drying bitterness. Medium bodied low carbonation. Straightforward, some suspects of unpure notes in the aroma.
