Draught@Kaisla, Helsinki. Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toasted, roasted and some mild toffee notes. Flavour is toffee, roasted, some coffee, quite much fruits and also ashes. Quite much bitterness too, which too bad clashes a bit too much with the ashy tones for my faste.

Tap at Kaisla. Opaque black color, tiny brownish head. Roasted malty, tarry, a bit earthy nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty, tobacco, some earthyness, light fruityness. Oak BA impy but can’t trace much of mango here.

(Keg at Kaisla, 20161203) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, smoke, liquorice and exotic fruits. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, smoke, sweetness, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. A good strong burnt brew but the notes from the fruits used were quite minimal.
