Bottled@Lakeuden panimojuhlat CoolHead beer tasting. Hazy ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweetness, some dark fruits, mild Port and white wine with some slight toffee and oaked tones. Flavour is wood, some slight tartness with some port and alcohol tones as well as some dates, figs and mildtoffee. Nicely smooth palate, and flavours stay rather long.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, a sample, at CoolHead Taproom, 20210923) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had toasted malts, vineousness, woid and vanilla. Palate was full bodied, warming and rather dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, wood, vineousness, toasted malts, vanilla and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, fruity, vineous and bitter. The barrel had cut sweetness pleasantly and given nice notes.
