Draught@William K Tennispalatsi, Helsinki. Deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is juniper, some wood, mild spruce as well as some bready malts and mild floral notes. Flavour is very similar, but also has some slight berryish notes to it. Mild toasted notes as it warms up too.

Negligible smell. Ruby rred colour, beige head. Aroma of plastic, kataja, malts. Medium bitter, mildly sour. Nasty.

(Keg at William K. Kurvi, 20131109) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had juniper, malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, juniper, sweetness, sweet hops and bitterness. Aftertaste had juniper, malts and bitterness. So far I haven’t had a beer that would have contained more juniper aroma and flavour than this one. A complex brew but still quite tasty.

Draught @ William K Kurvi
Aroma is odd with juniper and spices - feels quite like gin, except the booze is not present. Flavour is strong on juniper. Also some spices, toffee and malty tones. Creamy and smooth palate. Too spicy for me, but not bad anyway. Gin in the form of a beer. Quite far from a brown ale, "Spice/Herb/Vegetable" would be a better way to describe this.

Tap at William K. Kurvi. Colour is reddish brown with medium thick white head. Aromas and flavours: Chocolate, spices, juniper and roasted malts. Pleasant, fresh and tasty but little bit of watery for me.
