Bottle. Pours dark amber-copper. Aroma and flavor are black plums, sweet, fruity, malt, massive booze. Some bitterness. Overall: good, but I think it needs more time to mellow a bit - felt too raw and boozy.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker. Pours hazy dark brown with a lasting, small, unstable, frothy, tan head; lots of lacing. Inviting aroma of raisin, ripe plum, candied banana & orange, butterscotch, dough, ripe pear, herbal liqueur. Taste is medium to heavy malty sweet, pretty fruity, estery banana, raisin & ripe plum on a caramelly base, balance provided by a light herbal bitterness with tea leaves, nuts, clove, vaguely phenolic, medicinal, and even a tad metallic but not disturbing. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, more caramel, ripe fruit, a bit phenolic again, and some warming herbal liqueur alcohol in the very end. Medium body, oily-syrupy texture, fizzy carbonation. Can't complain about this new Trappist, very enjoyable.

33cl bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout. F: huge, irregular, light tanned, good retention. C: dark brown with red hue against the light. A: caramel, raisins, mellow fruity, candy, bit nutty, alcohol touch. T: sweet fruity and mellow fruity, raisins, bit warming alcohol, candy, banana, dried fruits, bit nutty, herbal touch, decent bitterness, full body and medium to high carbonation, may be too sweet but for a Trappist beer ok, very enjoyable for me.

0.33 l bottle from 'AH XL' (Nijmegen), bottled in August 2018. Clear, deep ruby with a massive, dense, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, overripe banana, clove, chocolate and some raisins. Quite sweet, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, nuts, lots of clove, overripe banana and some raisins, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy, minimally roasty finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Pretty heavy, resembles a Dunkelweizenbock due to the strong phenolic flavours, not typical for a trappist brew at all, still quite pleasant to drink.

Bottle. Dark brown pour, with lots of foam. Aroma of yeast ester, banana, caramel and sugar. Taste of sweet yeast ester, banana yeast, caramel, raisin and plum. Bit like a strong dunkelweizen, not the best quad.
