Draught@HBF2018. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is floral, some liquorice, alcohol, ripe fruits, raisins and some figs. Flavour is toffee, some liquorice, wooden notes and mild figs.

Tap @ SOPP Hki 2019. Smell of licorice. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of ash, roasted malt. Flat carbon, heavy body. Bitter, some sweetness.

On tap at Taproom United, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, with some oats, and a touch of lacto. Flavour is rich and roasted, with a wonderful roasted malt character, hearty oats and a little cocoa. Robust and hearty, without being brutal in any way. This is excellent.

Draught @ Ukkometso. Aroma has coffee, cocoa and salty licorice. Flavour has salty licorice, some cocoa and pot coffee. Pleasantly balanced and rich.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20180429) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and liquorice. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, liquorice, ash, coffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, hoppy and bitter. A well done dry imperial stout. Good drinkability.

Tap at HBF. Opaque brown colour, small brownish head. Roasted, grassy, some cocoa. Toasted flavour, licorice, hops, alcohol. Robust, tasty, clean, balanced. Excellent.

Draught @ HBF 2018. Pours pitch black with a sticky brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, dark chocolate, hints of earthiness. Taste is smooth, roasty and dry with some earthiness, dark chocolate, licorice and coffee. Finish is roasty, heavy and slightly syrupy with some dark chocolate and licorice. Quite balanced.

Draught @ hbf 2018. Poured pretty much black in color with a thin brown head. Oatmeal, licorice, roasted malty aroma. Flavor has roastedness, licorice, coffee, salty notes, dark chocolate. Heavy. Not bad.

Tap at HBF2018, Helsinki. Colour is almost black with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Licorice, some salt, coffee and roasted malts. Very heavy and strong flavors but little bit of salty for me. Overall quite good. Re-rate at Pikkulintu. 20180525. Excellent condition. Little bit of too salty and enough licorice. Getting better. 3.7-3.8.
