For the next installment in our series that explores all things electrical; we used Citra, Belma, and Galaxy with a heavy wheat and oat base. Ohm pours electric yellow with bright notes of papaya, passionfruit, lychee, assorted citrus, peach skins, and lime green Sixlets candy. The finish is bright with a creamy mouthfeel and a beautiful pop of #EQjuice. The 10% ABV is well hidden making it easy to overload your circuits with too many sips. Please enjoy this one on the couch at “Ohm”.

Canned 5/24/21, drunk 6/15/21.
Heavily hazy, deep copper-golden with a medium-sized white head showing moderate-to-low retention.
Juicy nose shows some alcohol but not too much for its size. Lots of lemon, orange, tangerine and grapefruit rind in varying degrees with sweet mango and some bubble gum-like ester intensity from the yeast. Malts smell supportive showing honey-bordering on light caramel, with plentiful breadiness.
Juicy and probably more accurately, malty-sweet with lots of heavy citrus. Not too twangy and the alcohol is tasted without it being noxiously burning. Just a big beer overall, but I think it's pretty reasonable for its size. That said, I don't think these beers gain anything going from 8% abv to 10%. Just sweeter, thicker, boozier, yeastier....none of which is good in my book. No doubt the month of time spent in the fridge has also greatly benefited this.

Pours a hazy, orange-pineapple color, with minimal head. Aroma is a combo of citrus and an almost rotting tropical fruit note. Flavor is straight up juice, citrus and tropical fruit, with an underlying sweetness and just the slightest touch of bitter hop finish. The ABV is very well-hidden on this one. Really good.
