Bandwagon 425 marks a new era! It's the first release with a new yeast strain that releases bound thiols that are naturally found in hops and malts, but normally remain locked in. The result is a stronger tropical aroma of mango, passionfruit and guava. To further emphasize this effect we've used mash hops, a special selection of malts, and (dry)hop varieties that are all known for higher amounts of thiols. To fully showcase the results, the beer has a relatively low ABV for the style. We will be doing more experimental stuff in this series, so hop on the Bandwagon to keep up!

Can from Mitra Ballast. Ripe-ish fruits aroma with smooth pale malt, grass, dankish Mosaic, melon, stone fruit, tropical notes, some mango and citrus. Moderate bitter, light sweet. Medium body. Nice.

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque yellow color with a small white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, a little sweaty feet hoppiness and very average fruity hop notes in general. Meh. Not very good tbh.

0,44 l blikje from Wijnalda, Haren. As always, I love the label art of this series. Murky orange golden in the glass, small white one finger head. Intensive tropical hop on the nose, maracuja, grape and yeast. Taste is also complex intensive tropcial fruity. Juicy. Some sweetness in the second row, malty background. Resin and pine in the finish. Smooth and low carbonated. Nice one.
