0.65l bottle from a friend who brought it from Cameroon (thanks Aleks!), shared with heavy and ogivladoPoured a nice golden body with a medium sized thick white head. A light, maybe a little too light taste, but fine, bready, some lightly acidic hop. a little pollen. Yeah, quite clean, no off tastes, drinkable, would be a very good lager with more body... now it’s just average (which is, again, probably great for the area). All in all, I couldn’t have asked more from my first Cameroonian beer.

Mein 2. Bier aus Kamerun verdanke ich Doppelbock, der mir die 0,65l Flasche mitgebracht hat. Der Schaum ist bei diesem Bier direkt verschwunden. Hat das Castel Beer der selben Brauerei noch sehr gut abgeschnitten, kann man bei diesem Bier nicht gerade von gut sprechen. Herb und penetrant säuerlich liegt das Bier im Mund, bevor der leicht metallerne und wässrige Abgang folgt. Beim nächsten Afrikabesuch rate ich dazu, dieses Bier zu meiden! Golden coloured. Relatively dry, surprisingly clean and full bodied for an African lager. Some bitterness.
