Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized creamy beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, mild raisins, some syrupy notes as well as mild toasted notes. Flavour is nutty, syrupy, wooden and some slight raisins and bitterness. Nice lingering mellow roast comes through as well.

Bottled, at Beerbear tasting. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Fint caramel aroma. Dryish with light body and spritzy mouthfeel. Caramel and excessive carbonation, slight licorice. Mid bitter finish.

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Remaining fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Coal black body. Earthy, roasted malty nose, quite promising. Grainy dark malty flavours, earth and nuts. Mid-sweet, slightly roasted finish. Medium bodied. Nice. (Session at Pivoteka H7, Tromsø 03.06.2019).

Bottle (from ship's shop). . Aroma is roast, chocolate, maöt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, chocolate, cocoa. Finish is acidic, bordering dour. Overall: very good.

33cl bottle from Tallink Star. Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a moderate, beige head. Roasty aroma with notes of dark fruits, wood, licorice and cocoa. Medium to moderate sweet with medium flavour intensity and a slightly dry and lightly bitter finish. Quite pleasant.
