Named after the state in South Central Mexico known for its perpetually balmy, clement weather, Morelos is a crisp and quaffable Mexican Style Lager with lime. A carefully selected grain bill imparts freshly toasted amber malt notes brightened up with a spritz of lime. Bright and clean with just a touch of honey sweetness and a vibrant citrusy finish, Morelos is a satisfying sunny morning in a can.

Lime, corn, caramel malt, and grass aroma. Amber with large tan head. Mildly sweet lime, corn, caramel malt, and mildly bitter grass flavor. Good body.

OK, from a can is pretty much solid clear pale yellah, perhaps a shade darker but no. Nose is mild off lemon or lime, very mild. Otherwise the olfactory is simple pale cheap ager. First taste is big bad mexy lager fer sher. Yes, some odd mild limon thing goin on in there. Its pretty much trying to be a refreshing mettiko lager but it somewhat falls short. Its just not as fun and cutting as many cheapo middle american lagers. Bubbly? Yes. Non offensive? Yes. refreshing? Somewhat. There is this processed feel about it that makes it come across like many undesirable macro pale lagers but overall its not a bad chug. Thanks Rhiney.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Clear yellow pour with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Malty aroma with some floral hop. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, caramel and mild floral hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
