Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Keg at the Euston Tap, East - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a reddish hint and a thick, creamy topping. The aroma holds lightly toasted biscuits, faint caramel, ripe orange, bread. Medium sweet flavour with prominent bready malt character, faint marmalade, low bitterness, some peach. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with alright balance, some crusty pale bread, a little lightly toasted sugar, more ripening citrus fruits, crackers. Fairly relaxed and enjoyable, but it’s not fabulous.
