A Premium Extra Pale Lager. Using a time-honored recipe with only the finest malted barley and blend of hops, Rolling Rock is a classic American lager that is as well-known for its distinctive, full-bodied taste as it is for its craftsmanship, heritage and green bottle. Full-flavored, with a subtle bite. Light-to-medium body and color. Brewed with only the choicest ingredients; a perfect blend of pale barley malt, rice and corn.

Pours a clear golden with a fuzzy white head. Aroma of malt, corn. Taste has sweet grain notes, some more corn syrup flavor. Palate has lingering sweetness, some acerbic notes. Not awful.

Thank you Clay M. For showing me this masterpiece of hop water. My last of the six pack. Not gonna lie I kinda liked it, mostly for its spring water forward flavor, refreshing for sure, hint of bitter hop nose, maybe I got an extra fresh not struck pack.

Bottle. Pours gold. Sulfur, vegetable, grain, unpleasant finish. Not much body. A seriously objectionable beverage.

Not sure why I have no rating on Rolling Rock already. Now in Palm Springs, CA I have the chance to do that. Purchased at a Jensen’s this 25 oz can should be approximately 4% better than its 24 oz. contemporaries. Giving it the brown bag treatment I pop the tab and drink. No surprise here, rice, water, some corniness maybe. Your basic session pale lager. Drink very cold on a hot day.

I had this when it was a Latrobe beer, twenty years ago. This is from a Safeways bottle. Much better than Budweiser. Light malt aroma and flavour. Has a thin hop note. Would be better without the corn and rice but still not bad.

Tap at TCrBF 2018. Pours golden. Aroma is sweet, corn, grains, cardboard. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: bad, but I have had worse. --- Beer merged from original tick of Rolling Rock Extra Pale on 05 May 2018 at 15:03 - Score: 3. Original review text: Watwry
