On tap. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of straw, grains and a bit of egg. Flavor has more grains and straw with earthy grass backing.

On tap. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Faint aroma of bready malt, corn and a hint of fruit. Sweet flavour of corn, biscuit and light grass with a crisp, dry, mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Refreshing, but no better or worse than any other macro out there.

Rated from old notes. My favorite of the mass produced American lagers and the only one I would buy again. Maintains a pleasant, crisp, refreshing, if unremarkable taste for the duration. Best had straight from the bottle. Not sure why but it does taste better this way.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. One finger clear white head; no noticeable lacing. Pale apple juice color; aroma has a hint of sour apple. Medium carbonation. A distinctive taste; slightly sweet and slightly skunky.

16 oz can from Market Basket, because why the hell not? Deep yellow color with a huge frothy white head. Corny grainy aroma with light apples. The flavor is grainy lightly sweet bread with bits of polenta. Medium to light body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a crisp sharp mouthfeel. Goes down pretty smooth and somewhat quickly through my parched gullet.

Can. Have to say, I was not as disgusted by this as I thought I was going to be. It was even quite refreshing, although part of it might have been that I had it at the first outdoor barbeque of the season.
