Breweries and bands don’t start on the big stage. They all tend to start in someone’s garage. They try, fail, adjust, try again, fail again, tweak something here, mess around with something over there, and through some cocktail of talent, persistence, and divine inspiration, they create something remarkable. This is that, in liquid form.

Approachable, full-flavored, and begging for another sip, carried by welcoming notes of pineapple, orange, and lemongrass.

Tap at Navigator. Not sure how you manage to make a 5.5% IPA taste sugary and dextrose laden, but they did it. Bold Mosaic, but such an undesirable body. Has that gas station IPA feel. Not that good.

Aromas are malt, tangerine, mint with a hint of weed. Flavors are similar to nose, on the sweet side up front going bitter towards the end. Juicy. Pretty good.

355ml can. Opalescent, dark brass to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and piney, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty background, notes of pine, lemon, some grapefruit, orange, pineapple, yellow stone fruit. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly biscuity pale and caramel malty, and crisp, bitter, piney and citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of lemon, some lemon peel, grapefruit, orange, a touch of pineapple. Oily-watery texture, dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Crisp, clean, refreshing and drinkable - very nice.
