Very dark brown with thin head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma and flavour have a background of dark malts. Light touches of glac� cherries and dried fruits. Very boozy.

[ As Mikkeller Santas Little Helper - 2018 ].
ABV: 10.9%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, candy, sweet yeast, spicy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet yeast, candy, cocoa, dark malt, chocolate - coffee, rich. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20200510]

Tap at brewdog Tallinn. Pours dark brown-black. Aroma is sweet, spices, booze, and malt. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: quite standard Mikkeller Santa's Little Helper, no idea why they are separated by vintage (the label of the bottle even doesn't mention it anymore...)

200ml draught at Mikkeller CPH. Deep rustic body, spotty lacing, almost naked at the surface. Spiced dark malty nose, hints of alcohol. Taste of caramel malts with a touch of cinnamon. Dark malty ending, rather sweet. Noticeable, warming alcohol. Pleasing. (Kastrup Airport 26.11.2018).

I always drink this one with my friends at out annual Christmas meeting. Damned good beer. As it was last year and the year before that……

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Dyp mørk amøber. Nesten svart. Høyt luftig lysebrunt skum som daler (altfor) sakte. Spotlacing. Lett krydderaroma. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Smaken nøtter & rosiner. Tørr alkoholisk avslutning. Koseøl.

Draft. A brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of star anise, caramel, dark malts, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, dark malts, liquorice, star anise, other spices, and alcohol, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle from Boxbeers. Hazy very dark red brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit, dark sugar, yeasty and toffee. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. 101118
