Thank you, good king for your deeds! This Imperial Stout with Pale Malt with coffee aroma and fine chocolate note is for you! The Barbarossa I am Imperial Stout is part of our barrel aged selection. It has aged in Rye Whisky barrels for over 8 months and has an ABV of 8.5%. It is now ready for your enjoyment.

Warning: open over a sink! Poured from 750mL bottle. Huge gusher, lost half the bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Subdued roast and wood with a hint of brett, no detectable rye whiskey character. Somewhat dry, medium body. Okay as a brett imperial stout, but I don't think that's what they were going for.

A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of mid sweet strong dark malt, coffee. Taste of red fruits, dark malt, chocolate, coffee.

Cremig malziger Beginn mit viel Kaffee. Leichte Säure, geringe Herbe, leicht alkoholische Tendenzen. Angenehmes Kaffeearoma im Mittelteil, weich, röstmalziger Abgang. 10/9/9/9/8/9
