Nice deep red colour, just a thin head, some haze. Big raspberry aroma, quite bright. Quite tart, a bit bracing. Still a pretty nice fruit character. A touch leathery, tannic, but mostly just straight up acidic with a balanced fruit character.

2022 vintage. 750mL bottle, pours a hazy rose red with a small pink-tinged head. Aroma is full of fresh raspberries, a touch of currant, some funk, and ever-so-slight phenolic character. Flavour is very deep on the raspberries, with plenty of acidic currants, gentle funk, and oak. Deep fruitiness, though a bit too acidic. Very nice stuff.

Poured from 750mL bottle (T.H.T. 11/27 - not sure what that means, but seems like some sort of date). Hazy deep red with small off white head. Red currant forward with a bit of raspberry rounding everything out, a touch acidic. Decent.

Transparant head over veiled dark pink beer. Putty and raspberry juice, if diluted. Raspberry leaves, bit of rubber/sulphur. Pretty soru, raspberries that aren't quite ripened yet. Lemon, farmyard, bit mineral. Serious acidthinning, some burn. Feels a lot better carbonated than it looks (dead). Severe Framboos, co-taster compares it to the first Boon Framboise.

Framboise with locally harvested red raspberries - but this would not be Boerenerf if something else had not been blended in, in this case a portion of redcurrant berries and some cherry lambic... Opens with a bang and a cloud of 'gun smoke', but no gushing. Medium thick, quite firm, sparsely lacing, pale pink-lilac head remaining closed and stable for longer than average and crackling audibly, over a hazy rose red robe with vermillion glow. Aroma of indeed a heap of freshly picked red raspberries, even raspberry bushes, with the fresh redcurrant piercing through very clearly as well, some sour cherry, dry farmland, old wood, lemon juice, sour tomatoes, dried tree leaves, hay, kefir, barnyard in the background. Tart onset, lemony but the most part of the acidity coming from the raspberries and the redcurrants; very lively and colourful, with that typical tomato-ish touch from the raspberries working well with the astringency of the redcurrants - topped with a dash of sour cherry; champagne-like effervescence further accentuates the brightness and freshness of the acids, moving over a deeper lactic tartness through a slender bready core, where raspberry seeds and redcurrant skins become increasingly prominent, with tart, radiantly fruity and astrigent tannic effects matching the basic lambic perfectly. Woodiness supports the tannic parts of the fruit in the end, while barnyard funkiness rises up retronasally, adding to the overall complexity and genuine, artisanal, fresh character of this fruit lambic. An elegant damsel in Boerenerf's still expanding range, this deserves to be served in a flute glass and enjoyed fresh and a bit chilled on a sunny day; do not underestimate her, though, she is full of attitude, pungency and complexity. A beautiful creation again and a must for the true 'framboise' lover, with the added fruits cleverly serving as background reinforcements of the raspberries.

750ml bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Rubino sangue di piccione, un filo torbida, schiuma esile. Al naso intendere note di lampone, citriche, balsamiche. In bocca è citrica, tagliente, molto acida. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione brillante. Troppo dritta e tagliente.
