Bottle, many thanks vami, smallish head, very dark brown head, aroma of disinfectant, smoke and charred wood, flavor of ash, charred wood, caramel and a bit of chocolate. Strong Laphroaig character, highly sippable.

Wedzenie i torfowosc, ma sie wrazenie jakby Rauchbier tu zatanczyl z Nafciarzem od Brokreacji (z jakimkolwiek) doskonale to wyszlo, Piwo nie za drogie i przy tej jakosci jaka prezentuje to szacun moj ogromny. wali po bandzi torfowoscia wilgotnym czarnoziemem, spalanym drewnem w kominku. biala etykieta a piwo tak czarne i ciemne niczym to co widzialy zawiazane oczy Pana Chaja i Pana Urbanka podczas przywiazywania do drewnianego slupa i rozstrzelaniu ich przez niemcow przed wiezieniem w Tarnobrzegu w dzien sw. mikolaja 1939r. Dla tych bezbronnych Panow mikolaj przyniosl niespodzianke w postaci smierci. piana nie za wielka ale trwala i bardzo ciemno sniada, niczym siniaki na nogach od uderzen kolba karabinu. Dobre lekki profil kawow-kwaskowy, mocne palenie, srednia slodowosc, no ale tak reasumujac, pyszne, ale kurcze troche chyba przesadzili z ta torfowoscia. a moze sie czepiam:)

Butelka. Czarne, z niezbyt obfitą brązową pianą. Z butelki przelewa się gęste, choć w ustach jest dość wodniste. W aromacie torfowe, raczej jednowymiarowe, ale daleko mu do jakiegoś asfaltowego potwora. W ustach konkretnie kwaśne, nie skwaśniałe, po prostu kwaśne. Goryczka też dość wysoka, krótka. Nisko wysycone i wodniste. Specyficzne, nie tego się spodziewałem.

Thick tan head, creamy and reasonably stable, over near-black beer. Very tarry nose, tarred poles, pitch, to the exclusion of everything but phenols. Faint sweetness underneath peat/smoked/tarr onslaught. Here the Islay is recognisable. Concentrated Lapsan Souchong. There is some stout acidity, but not much, mostly at the end of each swallowing The tarr/peat is slightly less omnipotent than in the nose, but all the same... Medium bodied, but quite slick; mild to good carbonation. More than slightly overpeated stout. Careful with Islay casks, they're dynamite. I Many thanks to Aga and Marcin!

Draught @ Piwna Stopa, Poznań. Pours cloudy very dark brown with small tan head. Clear aroma of smoke and whisky barrel, with touches of malt and dark fruit. Intense flavour of peat and barrel with hoppy and estery notes. Smoky and estery aftertaste with malty hints. Decent.

Bottle 33cl from Sklepzpiwem, Gdansk PL. Black with a minimal light brown head. Wow, lots of Laphroaig whiskey aroma, smoke. Sweet with a good smoke and whiskey end. Perfect nightcap! BB 03.2018
