An Alberta Clipper is a fast-moving winter weather system formed in the lee of the Rocky Mountains that bring high winds, low temps, and snow.

We happened to be brewing this West Coast IPA during just such a weather event, so we felt the name was appropriate!

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, grapefruit and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of biscuity pale malt, caramel, apricot, grapefruit and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and average carbonation. Malt forward, but not bad.
