The Tripel Louvaniste is a top-fermented beer, a real full-bodied tripel as a tripel should be. Slightly darker in colour to clearly distinguish strong blonde. It contains an alcohol content of 8.5%. Composed of Trappist yeast with esters giving off a banana aroma, wheat, barley and malt. Paradise seed combined with star anise was used for the spice. The paradise seed provides a slightly spicier, peppery flavour. The star anise, in turn, provides the sweet aftertaste. Finally, we chose classic hops instead of aroma hops.…

Hazy blond colour, white creamy foam. Nose of banana, some citrus, light herbal and a bit peppery. Ok tripel.

33cl bottle from Quali Drinks in Mechelen. F: medium, white, good retention. C: amber, light hazy as the yeast remained in the bottle. A: banana, honey, apples, spicy, bready, bit caramel, alcohol touch. T: full malty base, banana, red apples, bready, honey, spicy, bit alcohol, spicy, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed.
