Canned 330ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, chocolate in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light hoppy and caramel with herbal touch in the finish.

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, chocolate and coffee. Lovely! Flavor is malts, dark malts, coffee, roasted malts, nicely bitter. Quite pleasant. I like this one.

lattina 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma cappuccino media grana persistente, colore marrone intenso nero, al naso Vov caffè liquirizia, in bocca è vellutata bella luppolata caffè cioccolato al latte caramello malto tostato vaniglia liquirizia, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato, secca nel finale. Can at Pööbel, Tallinn. Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma of cherries,dark dried fruits, chocolate, ethanol. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth.

Bottled@Tallink Star (ship). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted, some toffee, nuts and mild wooden notes. Flavour is roasted, ashy, some toasted and earthy notes. Mild sweet roast in the aftertaste.

Pours dark brown, looks black in the glass, with a medium sized brownish/tan head that shows decent retention and lacing. A clean and intense but not very deep aroma: strong chocolate upfront with lighter notes of caramel (borderlining burnt caramel) and hints of coffee. Taste has less chocolate character (though still clearly noticeable), with a stronger caramelly maltiness (as in the aroma, borderlining burnt caramel). There's medium to high sweetness and bitterness, with perfect balance in the mouth and the slightest bittering edge in a rather dry finish/aftertaste which shows herbal/balsamic hints. Medium bodied with quite light carbonation, a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Quite straightforward and simple, clean and enjoyable at that but failed to impress me, felt kinda average.

Aromes intenses de chocolat noir enrobés de nuances caramélisées et de subtiles notes de torréfaction ainsi que d’un soupçon d’alcool. De couleur brun foncé aux reflets roux à travers une bonne limpidité, le liquide se couvre d’une mousse abondante, tenace et bien formées. En bouche, la torréfaction est bien implantée avec des notes de chocolat noir bien amer. L’alcool développe une certaine chaleur sans être trop dominante. La finale est bien amère, issue d’une torréfaction qui persiste en arrière-bouche tout en conservant un léger sucré. Des esters aux notes de pruneaux s’immiscent dans la palette. Des houblons résineux rajoutent à l’amertume sans la dominer. Le corps est ample et moyennement rond. La carbonatation moyennement élevée. Très agréable à boire et bien costaude. Bottle: Poured a blakc color porter with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some alcing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some black chocolate notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt with light bitterness with some smooth black chocolate notes. Body is full for style with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Well brewed porter with good drinkability.
