Roast and smoke. A hint of licorice. Dark chocolate and coffee. Pretty nicely done. Black pour with decent head. Slightly oily texture. Sharp bitter finish. Bottle.

330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown with a big beige colored fluffy head. Burnt malt, robusta coffee, citrus, cocoa and dark chocolate, leather, tobacco, some booze. Dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter roasty sweet finish. Nice!

Black night degustation via Beermalade. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt, coffee, caramel, hops. Taste si very similar with dominant citrus hops at finish. Good one.

Bottle via Beermalade tasting. Medium silky body, rather high carbonation, very small bubbles, silky. Moderate acetaldehyde - green apples. Also rather high hoppy bitterness which does not really work for me in this beer. Moderate caramelly chocolatey malt character, joined by aforementioned apple and grassy earthy hops character. Feels unbalanced, but maybe just this kinda american porter is not for me. Good but not great.

Pours black, medium sized, fairly dark head fades fairly fast. Scent is sharp, roasty, tarr, chocolate (pure) . Taste is full, dark chocolate, tarr, ashy, robust roast. medium full to full body (impressive for the ABV) and a medium carbonation. A very nice example of a styletechnical porter !

Bottle. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee an a little liquorice. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, medium sweet, little liquorice, hop and medium bitter.
