On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT.
Appearance: nice looking semi-dark amber color with a bar pour's kind of slim white head, dissipated and left no lace
Aroma: thick caramel/toffee malts, nice level of nutty crisp tones, subtle earthiness, and a big punch of bittersweet pine/resin hoppiness
Flavor: bittersweet meshing all the prior noted aromas then a mild aftertaste of pine and caramel malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good carb; finishes crisp with the pine
Overall: pretty nice red ale I could bang again.
