A celebration of local ingredients. We brewed this amber ale with over 24 lbs of maple syrup from Stonyhill Sugarhouse in Fletcher, VT and Willamette hops from Champlain Valley Hops in Starksboro, VT.

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Vermont Pub on 05/17/2024.
Appearance: dark amber color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which settled off fairly nice but barely left any lace
Aroma: maple syrup, caramel, chocolate and doughy malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet quality; finishes malty and maple-y
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; good smoothness; low-ish carb level
Overall: not a bad maple amber ale, I think I could return to this.

Taster at VPB. Clear amber pour, a few bubbles. Sweet aroma, maple. So much maple here, so sweet, a bit sticky, malty.
