Poured from 650mL bottle (2021 vintage). Clear amber brown with small light beige head. Mild caramel and molasses with rye malt, nice bourbon underlay, touch of wood, easy drinking.

Bottle, 650 ml, courtesy of and shared with Eric. Dark orange to brown with beige head. Malty, caramel, some ripe fruit, sweet, bourbon. Medium to full bodied. Good old school barley wine.

Bomber from Tavour. Mahogany pour, partial beige head. Sweet, boozy aroma. Taste is sweet, malty, brown sugar, whiskey notes, rye spiciness. Sweet and strong with a lingering buzz on the palate. Really nice.
I don't drink enough Reubens! Delicious rolo sweet bourbon smoothness. Bit of spice too, dunno if this is rye heavy bourbon or if it's the label/name placebo effect but it's delicious.

Flaska från Hopt, 2019. Något murken brunaktig vätska med beige krona. Stor arom, rejält med fat, fin hetta. Kolaremmar, torkad frukt, mycket rye och bourbon, snygg kryddighet, torr. Kanonbra.

2021 vintage enjoyed on tap at Reuben's. I know I've had this brew in the past, but have never enjoyed it quite to this level. This is amazing. Beautiful amber burnt color with a thin, active head. Mellow aroma of vanilla, oak, and a subtle whiskey. Beautiful. Flavor is packed and layered. Graham cracker, bold whiskey, wood, rich butterscotch and caramel. A little heat in the end from the booze, but I really need there to be here. Finishes dry, barrel, caramel, and a smoother than smooth whiskey note. This is an exceptional barrel aged brew. This makes me really bummed to have missed all the variants thus year. Love this one.

Vintage 2021. On tap at Reuben's Brews, pours a dark, rusty maroon with a small beige head. Nose is full of bourbon barrels, some spicy rye, caramel, and bready notes. Flavour is rich, with treacle toffee, bourbon barrels, butterscotch, and spicy rye barrels. Wonderfully barrel'd, with a great treacle character. Lovely.

Waxed bomber from New York Pizza Dept. Aroma is oaky, vanilla, bourbon, toffee, sherry. Pours hazy brown with orange highlights and a one finger beige head with great retention. Taste is highly sweet with a savory, lightly bitter edge. Beautiful toffee, bourbon-ish flavors. Delicious.

Bottle, courtesy of Sergey, possibly 2018 vintage
Dark amber to brown colour, unclean. Massive aroma of bourbon, over a layer of malt and caramel. It's full bodied, very sweet, malty flavour, with loads of bourbon and a big alcohol punch; quite bitter too, with a nice spicy rye touch.
Very good American Barley Wine.

22oz (thx, Max F.!) @ home shared with Alex and Andrey. Vintage 2018 (or maybe 2017). Appearance: dark copper with a beige head. Aroma: sweet, dark fruits, bourbon, creamy notes coming from oak. Taste: along the same lines, oily, with some hoppy bitterness. Overall: very good.
