The next in the series is a West Coast IPA, brewed at our brewery in collaboration with Oregon’s Barley Brown’s. This West Coast IPA has aromas of citrus, fruit loops, peach, guava, and pine, and features our homegrown Simcoe, Citra, and Galaxy hops.

Pint can. Bright golden pour with a large white head. Ripe aroma is just about everything I’d want from an IPA; citrus and tropical fruity bits with a touch of pine. Big hop flavors in this one, not much sweetness and a lot of dry lingering bitterness. Some tropical fruit, but mostly floral and piney. Sticky. A solid IPA in classic West Coast style.

16oz can from Homebrewstuff. Clear golden pour with a one finger foamy white head. Bready, hoppy aroma. Hops more pronounced in the taste, light resiny notes, caramel malts. Mild lingering bitterness.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of peach, B.O., cantaloupe, citrus rind, coconut, pine. Pours nearly clear golden with a one finger bone-white head with excellent retention. Taste has a moderate pithy bitterness that builds on the palate backed by a candy sweetness, finishing dry. Perfectly carbonated velvety mouthfeel. Nice.

On tap at Bale Breaker / Yonder, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is dank and oily, with plenty of pot-like hops, resins, and pine. Flavour is very dank and oily, with huge piney hops, dank hops, and resinous oiliness. Forceful hops and very oily palate. Good stuff.
