One of our biggest beers to date, and it does not disappoint. Aromatic soft caramel candy and heavy molasses mix with aged Caribbean rum (from the profuse barrel aging). Layers of brittle toffee, brown sugar, and ripened dates combine in this infinitely complex barleywine. Set aside for good conversations.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5
Taster at brewery. Mahogany pour thin ring of head. Boozy, sweet aroma. Taste starts with boozy rum, way too sweet, brown sugar. Not much maltiness as the rum barrel overpowers the whole brew, and not in a good way.
