12oz can from Homebrewstuff. Pour looks like cranberry juice. Blackberry and currant vie for dominance in the aroma, pretty much evenly matched. Very fruity. Taste follows with berries and currants, tart apple providing a nice backdrop. Minor tartness, plenty of sweetness, and a smidge of dryness. Very very enjoyable.

Bottle at the Zoo. Pours a reddish purple color with a bit of bubbles. A big sugary sweet berry nose. The flavor is also more sweet berries, pretty flavorful. Not exactly my favorite cider. OK.

On tap at Growler Guys Hazy deep red with a thin pink ring . Big sweet berry aromas and flavors. A bit sweet but lots of berry flavor A bit like the smuckers pancake syrup my grandma used to have.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Opened with a gusher. Aroma of blackberry jam in the air. Poured really dark purple (strong light) with a fizzy/foamy red berry head. Aroma is the blackberry I associate with jam. Med body. Flavor is an odd mix of sweet and tart. In fact it’s rather astringent as the liquid drains away. Gets somewhat earthy in the finish. Very unusual stuff.

On tap at Tugboat, pours amber with a small beige head. Aroma is sickly sweet, with syrupy blackberries. Flavour is about the same, with sickly syrupy artificial berries. This is horrific. Sickly sweet. Garbage.
