Soft malt character, with a slightly spicy hop influence and moderate bitterness. The finish is peppery due to the clove-like phenols produced by the yeast. Mild esters reminiscent of pineapple and tropical fruit can be detected.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. Really nice beer. Creamy sweet malt tone. Pleasant noble hop balance. Sweet, rich, estery. Well done.

500ml bottle from Boise Co-op. Opens with a small pop, pours out a cloudy golden with a nice robust white foamy head. Aroma is grassy, Belgian yeast, lemon. Taste is a delight, full of Belgian yeast, bread dough, grassy notes. Light citrus and savory flavors, too. Monkless continues to amaze me with their solid lineup.
