16oz can from Brewers Haven. Near black pour, skin of beige head. Mildly sweet aroma, balanced roasty malts and chocolate. Taste picks up on the whiskey barrel notes, dark, soft bitter chocolate, light sweetness, boozy accents near the finish. A little bit more chocolaty than a schwarzbier, but it really works.

16oz can picked up at the brewery. Pours near black with a medium sized beige head, light lacing. Coffee, whiskey, caramel, vanilla, bitter finish. Nice
