Tap at Drunk Uncle. Soft on the palate, perhaps just a rough pour. Nutty malt tone, with a sort of Nut Brown thing going on as well, the yeast is pretty restrained here. Pleasant malt depth. Some grape tone, cocoa. Unique. OK.

On tap at BitterCreek clear deep amber. Thin off white head. Light toasted malts, faint Belgian yeast character. Almost mistook it for a fest bier. Pleasant and a little noble hop bite at the end.

(Bottle) clear, fluorescent bright orange amber colour with a tall cream coloured head; aroma of cream, cake, compote; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Pint can shared by Jeremy at the January 2023 PS tasting, 1/14/23. Large tan head. Aroma of toffee, raisin, lemon. Taste is bready malt, earth, toffee. Very light. Not a fan.

500ml bottle. Dark brown, murky, patchy head. Aroma is a bouquet of raisins, brown sugar, plums, wood. Taste stays on target, sweet, pit fruit, yeasty, oak. Spot on.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a clear chestnut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma reveals the Belgian yeast, with toasted chestnuts and candi sugar. Flavour is gently sweet and estery, with candi sugar, light esters and Belgian yeast. Not exactly authentic but it's reasonably crafted.

Darker brown with thin head. Light malt and berry? aroma. Malt body with sour notes. Yeasty finish.
