Little 250ml can pours out dark cola brown topped with a small head. Nose is rich red wine touch same nice caramel toffee malts as the others. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel that wine barrel pops.

Small can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, small tan head. Aroma is dark malts, red grapes. Taste brings light red wine notes to the sweet and malty base, light roast, toffee. Heavy feel, but did not pick up on the high ABV.

Can from Tavour in the De Molen snifter. Pours dark mahogany with a slight, transient head. Aroma of Belgian yeast/spice, red wine, kandi, and fruity darkish malt. Near full bodied. Flavor begins with red wine and pale fruits, picks up heat, then kandi and med dark malt, with some notes of not all that fresh wood. No where near dry, but misses sticky. Heat stands in for bitter. Exquisite.

Sample during the Hoppin’ On Deck 4 tasting on 06/13/2020. Clear bronze color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a negligible film. Spotty lace. Oaky aroma with red wine and yeast notes. Full-bodied with flavors of dark fruits, Belgian yeast, caramel malt and subtle earthy hop. The finish is oaky with a red wine and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
