1 pt 0.9 oz bottle into Weizen glass. Strong banana, sour gym locker aroma. Tannnngy. Pours hazy orange with a giant cloudy head and rockin lacing. Taste is malty sweet with no bitterness. A little watery with medium carbonation. A good dunkel, but I’ve had better.

Bottled 500ml. -from beerangel.de shared with Doggythedog.
Muddy pale brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and nuts in the nose. Mild roasted malt, milk chocolate and banana with notes of caramel and touch of cocoa in the finish. Lack of body is evident. Pleasant but rather average dunkelweizen.

Bottle from beerangel.de, shared with ogivlado Poured an odd but nice opaque red brown body. Medium-small thick off white head that went away at a medium pace. Yoghurty roasty nose, light notes of dog food. Nice yoghurty and lactic taste with roasty malty notes. Some light bananas but nothing too noticeable. Lacks complexity and maybe body too but is pleasant enough.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, brownish golden with a coarse beige head lasting for a while. Toffee and banana dominates the aroma where there’s also some dried fruits and cloves. Medium body, quite effervescent. The flavor has toffee and some banana, a little citrus and some cloves. A hint of bitterness towards the end. Quite sweet all the way, but it gets dry in the very end. A quite nice one, even though it’s not among the best. 091220

Bottle:Cloudy, amber, big stable off-white head; some fruits, caramel and roasted malt in the nose, light wheaty background; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, soft, but very light bodied for a beer of 5.4%; short caramelly-sourish (apples??) finish. O.K. ....

bottle, bought at Kloster Weltenburg. Cloudy amber-brown colour with a dense and persistent off-white head. Incredible aroma of caramel, berries roasted malts and chocolate. Medium-bodied, lots of roast flavours combined with dark chocolate, caramel fudge and blackcurrant. Lingering finish that repeats all the flavours. A bit more body and this would be s supreme Dunkelweizen.
