Former name: "Hefe-Weißbier Dunkel".
Dunkler, erfrischender Weißbiergenuss vom Feinsten! Eine köstliche Kombination aus röstigen Malzaromen, fruchtiger Hefe und milder Frische!

Bottle. Cloudy brown with the fitting brown lacing head. Fat banana and clove aroma. Not much roast in the flavor wouldn’t have guessed it was dunkel blindly, still very nice Weissbier with all the usual banana, vanilla and clove notes.Medium to light body sparkly mouthfeel Bready, light spicy aftertaste.

An unclear orange-brown beer with a huge beige head - like whipped cream, just a bit darker in shade. The aroma is sweet wheaty with notes of caramel and bananas. The flavor is sweet with a strong banana presence as well as notes of caramel and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty end.

(bottle) Hazy amber colour with big slowly diminishing off-white head. Yeasty aroma with banana fruits and cloves. Malty taste with a finish of cloves a little banana note. Unfortunately it is only light to medium bodied, but it is still a nice quaffable brew.

Fully hazy amber-olive beer; head very fast gone. Bready nose, cloves, Friesian "nagelkaas" (cheese with cloves). Bready, heavy malt taste, cloves & phenolic, but all balanced and nice. Slick, wheaty-slick MF, nearly heavy bodied. Good Dunkelweizen. I wonder why the style isn’t more popular, compared to the blond versions.

Clear nut brown color with a huge lasting head of light brown. Light malt and yeasty banana in the aroma. Pleasant malt sweetness with a nice tangy finish. Needs just a touch more body but this isn’t a bad Dunkelweizen.

Cloudy, brown. Fruity aroma - banana, pear. A little dark malt, chocolate, banana, pear. Complex and well-balanced. There is hope for this style yet.
