Cask at the brewery. Pours near black with a an off white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy dark grains and dry roast with a hint of earthy chocolate supporting. Flavor has earthy bread with a good amount of earthy roast and a hint of toffee backing.

Taster at The Cellar. Smooth, creamy brown pour. Roasty aroma and taste, mild bitterness. Simple and on target.
