On tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Clear deep dark brown with a thin coarse soapy tan head and lacing. Some toasted malt and bitter chocolate notes. Light bodied with a little husky bite at the end

Taster at 10 Barrel Boise. Dark brown pour, ring of beige head. Roasty aroma, bitter. Taste follows with more roasty flavors, light bitterness and a thin body.

On tap at the Boise pub pours dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice toasted roast malts and some ash. Taste more of the nice roast malts some ash and a lite hop.
