On tap at the Sockeye Brewery/taproom clear deep golden orange with a full dense off white head. Candied ripe melon and citrus aromas and flavors. Fairly sweet and boozy and little hop bitterness save for a sweet piney bite at the end. A lingering ABV burn as it goes down. Barely wine territory.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Taster flight at Mother Earth. Bright, clear golden pour, wispy head, tons of lacing. Hoppy aroma, notes of pine first, then citrus. Taste comes in hoppy, astringent, oily. Like two IPAs battling for supremacy, and it's close, but not very friendly. Near miss.
