The brewers summoned this sipper with a seance of midnight wheat to conjure up flavors of roasty coffee and baker’s chocolate. Then they added specters of pithy bitterness and rustle of pine with additions of Citra, Centennial, and Amarillo Hops.

Can from Tavour. Pours very dark brown with a moderate foamy tan head that persisted. Aroma of roasty dark malt and resin. Med body or nearly. Flavor is the aroma plus a lot of citrus. Flavor is nice, but not very strong.

Can. Pours a dark brown hue with a medium off white head. A light cocoa and toasted malt nose. Toasted malts, cola, some sweeter elements like caramel. Mellow. Light pine.

Taster at LL Beaverton. Dark brown pour, wispy tan head, streaky lacing. Aroma hints at some light roastiness, chocolate. Taste picks up a bit, roasty, bitter, light sweetness, cola. Subdued for the style
