On Tap at the Boise brewery/taproom Dense opaque medium dark brown pour. Fine creamy tan head. Light roast and milk chocolate malts. Very faint light floral hop note. Mostly just the ligh toasted malts. A little coffee as well. Easy.

On tap at the brewery pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice roast malts some coffee and chocolate. Taste is more of the nice balanced coffee roast malts ash and chocolate.

Taster at Woodland Empire. Dark brown pour with patchy, fine head, streaky lacing. Aroma is roasty malts and dark chocolate. Taste brings faint smoky notes, light roast, chocolate, mild sweetness. Really nice.
