16 oz. can. Pours black, with a big, foamy, brown head. The aroma is baking chocolate, chipotle, cinnamon, caramel, and light leather. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Only a little heat. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, and drying. Pretty nice, earthy stout.

16oz can pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice rich chocolate spice and some vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate a little heat from the peppers and some cinnamon vanilla action going on.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, ring of brown head. Aroma is chocolate with light peppery notes, malty, roasty. Taste is dark chocolate, roasty, peppers not so spicy in the taste but the heat lingers for a while. Not as hot as you'd think from the name.

Bottle - labeled as 12.9% abv - viscous, inky black pour - minimal carbonation - slick mouthfeel and heft body - leads with sweet vanilla and cinnamon, followed by plum and dates - a vinous oakiness through the middle and some sweet/tart fig quality - the pepper heat comes through in the finish, but isn’t overly spicy - it compliments the lingering cinnamon well - it’s real tasty.
