Tavour: copper with off white head. Toffee, malt, light hoppiness. A little on the sweet and malty side. Not exactly a crusher. I admit that I had this in less than ideal circumstances, but still was not a huge fan.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear bright amber with a beige head. Malty aroma. Arguably med body. Malty - in a German malt way. Not dry, but not sugary. Somewhat bitter - there's even a slight bite. Like rye spice which suddenly seems to come up with rye breadiness. Good flavor.

16iz can from Boise Co-op. Dark amber pour, airy off-white head settles out fast. Toasty malt aroma, sweet. Taste is malty and sweet, pumpernickel, tingly finish.

16 oz. can, thanks to Ben! Pours a clear, amber color, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is caramel, hay, allspice, and brown bread. Sweet and malty, with a lovely rye spice and a touch of bitterness. Light to medium body, with a syrupy, lively palate. This is a quality oktoberfest.
