On tap at the brewery. Pours deep amber. Toffee, biscuit, blackberry, nutty. Medium body. Good.

8oz pour at Checkerspot. Cloudy dark amber pour, filmy tan head, ring. Toasty aroma, malty. Taste is toasty, more like a brown ale. Not much noticeable rye presence.

Tan brown with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. Grainy, malty and sweetish with a light rye note. Medium finish. Medium bodied and smooth.
