THE MALT: Organic 2-Row & Organic Carapils HOPS: Idaho 7
Seven Seas is the stronger barrel aged cousin of our peg legged Lucky Seven Pale Ale. Designed as a British-style India pale ale, this delicious beer has been aged in oak barrels and continually dry hopped with Idaho 7 hops over a period of 6 months, which serves to mimic the time it would take to travel from England to India via ship. The aroma is reminiscent of a tropical island breeze, with notes of pineapple and mandarin. The hop flavor is king in this brew with ample fruity, earthy hop character. The bitterness of our single hop British Style IPA is potent enough to provide joy to hop lovers, but is still an everyday quaffable drinker. Top this flavor off with the woodsy and earthy character of the barrel and you have a beer worthy of the Seven Seas.
