12 ounce can from Tavour. Amber orange pour. Small beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, caramel and bourbon. Flavor is sweet toasted malt, toffee, oak and bourbon. Rich and satisfying. Complex , yet restrained. Notes of toasted nuts and brown sugar on the backend. Well done.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark ruddy amber with a creamy tan head. Aroma of bread with a hint of pumpernickel and a bit of grass/spice. Med plus body. Flavor is the aroma (minus the pumpernickel) with wood and grass/spice and heat. Sort of dryish. Bitter from heat? Bourbon notes. Good flavor.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark, clear amber, small persistent creamy head. Aroma is caramel, oak and bourbon. Caramel up front in the taste, followed by some boozy warmth, sweetness. Full mouthfeel, creamy. Well done, the barrels adding a whole new layer on to this classic style.
