Bottle at home shared with Joes. A bit unclear yellow golden color, average to medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, decently hoppy, hoppy bitters, light metallic, distant hay / straw bitters.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fruity and yeasty with herbal hop, orange, touch of grapefruit, pale malt, fruit peel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Alcohol is hidden well, body is medium. Exemplary use of hops in a Belgian Strong Ale.

Small if persisting white rim, fed by invisible carbonation in fully hazy yellow beer. Banana, some exotid fruit, chewing gum, almonds, sweet malts, bit perfumey as lemongrass. Sweet, restsugars, cardboard, oranges. White candi sugar, bark. Alcohol quite hidden, sweet aftertaste; better carbonated than it looks. Bit anonymous, certainly for "sensory heaven". De Proef seldom or never makes mistakes, but it is too fade. Txs to the girls @ the practice!
