At almost a full degree of latitude further north than Northern Monk we're the real northerners in this collab. Hallions and heathens combine for this bright American pale ale. Dank, piney, bitter and bright.

Can. Maltier than I expected, some fruity notes, light grapefruit, orange. Mild bittersweet flavour, overall a bit sweetish. Medium body.

440ml can. Opalescent, orange, dar golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Resinous, piney and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, pale malty background with a touch of cracker, notes of pine, resin, a touch of grapefruit and lemon. Taste is initially watery, bitter, citrusy fruity, piney and resinous hoppy, pale malty basis with some residual sweetness, slightly diluted notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit, increasing sweetness, more substantial body in the middle part, again more watery and slightly mineral finish. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly dank and bitter, sadly with some watery passages - nice.
