A black beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of intense sweet dark malt, chocolate, some coffee and maple syrup. Taste of intense sweet dark malt, chocolate, espresso, vanilla, maple syrup, cookies, sticky sweet finish. Full body, slightly boozy.

Draught @ Biererei Bar. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, spice, cinnamon, maple, chocolate. Flavor is sweet lightly spiced, roast malt, caramel, coffee, chocolate, maple, cinnamon, some alcohol. Medium to full body, average carbonation, sweet mild spiced finish. 060424

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, small beige head. Aroma of boiled milk, caramel, cinnamon and maple syrup. Sticky sweet with full body sticky mouthfeel, Boiled milk and buttery caramel. Just a sickly sweet gagging mess.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, nutty, some maple syrup, alcohol and a bit wooden and chocolaty tones. Flavour is tiramisuish with some maple syrup and a bit chocolaty and wooden tones with some nutty elements. Proper oomph!

ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, caramel, chocolate, dark malt, maple, moderate roasted and coffee, light nutty - dried fruit, light vanilla - spicy. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration, maple, chocolate, vanilla, peacan, rich - heavy, moderate coffee, light nutty - dried fruit. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20240113]

02\11 can from Brew Export Advent Calendar 2023. Aroma is rich - dark chocolate and maple. A hazy grainy element. Stygian. Glossy. Foamy tan head soon recedes. Initial and brief coffee and chocolate bitterness which is soon enveloped in sweet sweet maple. Chewy edge - currants oats, etc? Thick. Creamy. Double cream. Verging on gloomy. Flat-average carbonation. Long long finish. Decadent stuff. But a sipper, if I chugged this the I would puke as so sweet.
