16oz cans from Tavour. Dark brown pour, one finger beige foamy head. Mellow roasty aroma, light chocolate prunes. Taste starts with a bit of sweetness, light roasty notes, chocolate, woody, nutty. Not overly bitter, but it is present throughout. Dry finish.

Bottle: pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma is lagery, molasses, prunes. Taste is sweet, molasses, some fruitiness.

Bottle, at share, thanks to me. Pours black. Raisin, chocolate, biscuit, milk chocolate, vanilla. Medium body. Good.

Can from Tavour. Pours ruddy tinged brown with a huge frothy white head - almost did a Guinness. Aroma of dark malt, treacle and dark fruit notes. Med body. Smooth. Flavor is dark malt, treacle, something suggesting raisins. Heat is absent. Sweet, but not obnoxiously so. Mild bitterness helps with that. Good lager.

Aromas are black patent, dark malt and raisins, a bit of molasses. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, loses the molasses with good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation, leaning lightly sweet. True to style. Pretty good beer.
