Slowly fermented for three months with our house mixed fermentation saison culture, Bernarda’s restful transformation delivers deep yet delicate notes of tropical fruit and peppery yeast. A further fermentation in the bottle yields delightfully vibrant carbonation. Bernarda is named in tribute to Bernarda Bryson Shahn, a prolific artist from the New Deal era who was born in Athens, Ohio.

Draft at Jackie O's. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Oak aromas with peppery herbal notes alongside tart lemon curd. Palate is similar with more lemon curd, pepper and bright citrus rind. Dry, tart finish. Very refreshing!
